Zavino Gets into the “Spirit” with ROOT and SNAP Cocktails and Desserts 11/05/2010

The folks over at Zavino Pizzeria & Wine Bar have been serving up great ROOT and SNAP cocktails since their opening so we were thrilled when they agreed to let us to film them in action!
Zavino’s seasonal food and beverage pairings are not to be missed and the menu changes daily–just check out the chalkboards. The tiny corner space offers guests upscale Italian inspired dishes with an emphasis on fresh, local product. The energy coming out of this place is fantastic but it’s their nightly specials and approachable wine and cocktail list that seem to have folks lining up in the friendly neighborhood of Midtown Village.
We got in touch with the guys running the place, General Manager, Jason Brooke and Head Chef, Matt White. These guys do all they can to support local business and kindly welcomed us and our cameras! Check out the videos below to recreate cocktails like the ROOT Bean Soda or the appropriately named SNAP WIT–made with mascarpone cheese!
